It’s time to kiss those winter blues goodbye. These Cambria winter festivals are sure to warm your hearts this new year.

Hearst Castle

Coastal Discovery & Stewardship Film Festival

The famed Hearst Castle is located just 10 miles north of Cambria. If you’ve never visited, now there’s even more reason to go. Starting January 18th, The Hearst Theater will be showing the most critically acclaimed giant screen film of 2019, National Parks Adventure, as part of the Coastal Discovery & Stewardship Film Festival. With screenings at 6pm and 7pm, and subsequent screenings each Saturday for the next seven weeks, this awe-inspiring film, narrated by Robert Redford, will take you on an adventure through the unspoiled beauty of our national parks. It’s a great way to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the national parks without leaving your seat. It may even help you find a whole new appreciation for the great outdoors.

Cambria Art & Wine Festival

The 18th annual Cambria Art & Wine Festival returns January 24 – 26, 2020. This festival offers attendees three days to sip fine wine while admiring unique artwork in the seaside community of Cambria. Enjoy all this for just $40 per person. Highlights of the celebration include demonstrations by local artists, a silent auction and art show reception, raffles, and a five-course dinner. Plus, there will be plenty of opportunities to taste wine from Central Coast wineries. Make a weekend of it or simply experience it for a day. Either way, you’re sure to get a glimpse into Cambria’s artistic side, and possibly discover a new favorite wine along the way.
