Hearst Castle near Cambria and San SimeonThere are great local attractions just outside of Cambria that are ideal for day trips in the area.  Hearst Castle is a must see when you visit.  The famous estate sits on a 250,000 acre ranch is now a museum open to the public, and is located just six miles north of Cambria in San Simeon.

Just south of Cambria is the charming town of Harmony.  The very small town boasts a population of 16.  There is great wine tasting at Harmony Cellars and a quaint wedding chapel…as you can imagine, people love being married in Harmony.  But the real fun in Harmony is being mesmerized by the Harmony Glass blowers as they create their fiery masterpieces.  You might even be able to buy the very same piece you watch them create.

Cambria is located between Los Angeles and San Francisco on iconic Highway One, making it the perfect stop on your California road trip.
