The Pinedorado Parade:
This year’s Grand Marshall, Ken Eberle, will begin the procession, which meanders down Main Street all the way to the West Village. At 10am there will be a “Freedom Flight” and the War Birds will do a clear sky flyover, and the parade always has some hilarious moments, a few touching ones, and lots of great smiles to be had. Cambria’s artistic flair is evident as the parade makes its way through town with clever homemade floats and local schools and businesses joining in the fun. There are traditional parade regulars like the Shriners in tiny cars and untraditional regulars like our local dog park, with a vast array of wonderful floats and clever costumes. The arrival of the calliope signals the end of the parade and the start of the festivities. The winners of the parade awards are announced on Saturday at 1:30 at the Pinedorado Grounds.
