The Pinedorado Parade:

This year’s Grand Marshall, Ken Eberle, will begin the procession, which meanders down Main Street all the way to the West Village. At 10am there will be a “Freedom Flight” and the War Birds will do a clear sky flyover, and the parade always has some hilarious moments, a few touching ones, and lots of great smiles to be had. Cambria’s artistic flair is evident as the parade makes its way through town with clever homemade floats and local schools and businesses joining in the fun. There are traditional parade regulars like the Shriners in tiny cars and untraditional regulars like our local dog park, with a vast array of wonderful floats and clever costumes. The arrival of the calliope signals the end of the parade and the start of the festivities. The winners of the parade awards are announced on Saturday at 1:30 at the Pinedorado Grounds.

After the Parade:

There is much to do at the Pinedorado Grounds where there are special rides for children and activities to keep the grownups happy with Bingo, live music, and local barbecue, or perhaps a visit to the Vet’s hall pub would be in order. On Saturday’s event calendar, the annual Cambria Follies is at 7pm, and music by Marcus DiMaggio from 3-5. The Car Show is the main event for Sunday, with winners of the car show announced at 3pm and a very special evening with Kiki Ebsen & her band. (Kiki is the daughter of actor, Buddy Ebsen!) Music memories that everyone will enjoy: wine, beer and a bit of dancing. Limited Angel Table Ticket: $60. each includes front row table seating and drinks. General admission $30.00 each. Additional information: Call 805.801.6235.  Tickets are only $1 to enter the raffle, and the $1500 cash prize winner will be picked on Monday at 2pm. The Julie Beaver Band closes up the event Monday 1- 4:30 and the last day of the event is a favorite with locals as the summer comes to an official close.
