Pacific Coast Wine Trail
The Pacific Coast Wine Trail features 10 different wineries along the Northern San Luis Obispo County Coast and stretches from Harmony to San Simeon. If you are looking to spend the day wine tasting, or simply want some wine tasting options in and around Cambria, the Pacific Coast Wine Trail is a great resource.
Sample award winning wines from boutique vineyards off the beaten path, where you’ll often have the chance to learn about the wines directly from the winemaker or owner. Enjoy tasting wines in town and visiting with the winemakers at Moonstone Cellars, and nearby Black Hand Cellars, a small boutique winery with their tasting room located in Cambria in the West Village. Or, take a short country drive along Santa Rosa Creek Drive and visit Stolo’s Family Winery restored farmhouse tasting room for a variety of blends that thrive in Cambria’s unique microclimate. Great wine, views and variety aren’t hard to come by on the Pacific Coast Wine Trail.

Wine Tasting in Paso Robles
In recent years, the Paso Robles wine region has become renowned through the country. Known for their Rhone style varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Syrah, the climate in Paso Robles lends will to specializing in red wine.
From Cambria, the west end of Paso’s wine region can be visited via the 46 West, and are a short 20 minute drive from Cambria. While there are countless tasting rooms within Paso Robles’s wine region, here are a few closer to Cambria:
Rocky Creek Cellars is a small Family owned and operated winery that makes small batch wines that are very smooth and drinkable. Their rustic and unique tasting room will make you feel very comfortable and right at home in the most scenic part of San Luis Obispo County.
Epoch Estate Wines makes wine make with minimal intervention in the winery with fruit from meticulously farmed, estate owned, rocky, hillside vineyards. With wines that are delicious and complex and seriously fun to drink, their tasting room, located at the beautiful and historic York Mountain Winery, is well worth a visit.
Jack Creek Cellars location lends itself to a unique microclimate with a heavy coastal influence, producing delicious Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Grenache. A family owned vineyard, their delicious wines are worth a taste. Jack Creek Farms offers seasonal fresh produce and a chance to visit their adorable farm animals. One of our favorite stops!

Their small-batch brews include more traditional verities like oatmeal stout, porter and pale as, as well as more unique bourbon barrel blends.
