Hearst Ranch Winery

A few miles north of Cambria near Hearst Castle is the small coastal town of San Simeon. Here, inside the historic Sebastian’s General Store, is where you’ll find the acclaimed wines of Hearst Ranch Winery. Hand-crafted offerings include Chardonnay, Rosé, Tempranillo, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and even Late Harvest Zinfandel. All available to taste in the quaint and inviting space, which features historic remnants of the past that take you back to the turn-of-the-century when Old San Simeon Village was a bustling whaling and commerce village.

Stolo Family Vineyards

Stolo Family Vineyards is the only estate winery and vineyard in Cambria. It’s also one of the closest vineyards to the California coast, located less than three miles from the Pacific Ocean. They produce cool climate wines that are representative of the region, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and dry Gewürztraminer. The winery farmhouse and old dairy barn date back to the late 1800s, making for a rustic, inviting place to taste their critically acclaimed wines.

Cutruzzola Vineyards

Just outside Cambria in a coastal valley a few miles from the Pacific is Cutruzzola Vineyards. It’s a family-owned winery focused on cool climate Riesling and Pinot Noir. The hillside vineyard produces small yields of extremely concentrated fruit, while the cooling ocean breezes allow the grapes to retain freshness and acidity. Their laid-back tasting room in downtown Cambria is a great place to taste these Central Coast boutique wines.

Twin Coyotes

Conveniently located on Main Street in Cambria, a visit to the Twin Coyotes tasting room will have you tasting everything from Moscato and Chardonnay to Tempranillo and Merlot… and even a variety of olive oils. Owned by twin brothers and their families, Twin Coyotes is dedicated to crafting wine handmade in small batches. Their wines are made from sustainably farmed grapes grown on the Central Coast.

Cayucos Cellars

Since their first vintage in 1996, family-owned and operated Cayucos Cellars has been producing small batch wines. They incorporate natural winemaking techniques like wild yeast fermentation. A visit to their tasting room will find you enjoying Chardonnay, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Petit Sirah. The wines are often poured by one of the Selkirk family members themselves at their downtown Cambria location.
